My Son Has Finished Reading The Bible

My son has completed reading the entire Bible. He finished the last two chapters of Malachi tonight.

He came out of his bedroom and asked me, "What do I do before I sleep tomorrow?"

Me: Re-read the Bible.

J: 😱😱😱

Me: You will never finish reading it. But from now on, you will read what God puts in your heart to read.

Me: And I will go through with you chapter by chapter. Might take another 5 years.

J: 😱😱😱

When we read the Word, the Word reads us. Until we become perfect, we will never finish reading it.
